Haikyuu Timeskip-All Characters Professions and Jobs after Timeskip

Haikyuu

Haikyuu is one of the best sports anime of all time and has set the benchmark very high for any future sports series. The beauty of Haikyuu lies in its brilliant and realistic depiction of Volleyball, staying true to its genre. With amazing characters and with no unnecessary side plots, Haikyuu is a must-watch masterpiece for any anime fan.

Furudate gave heartbreak to all fans when he time skipped after the end of Karasuno’s match against Kamomedei in the Nationals Tournament Arc. After the time skip, all the characters moved on with their life, with few continuing in the volleyball field and others in their respective interested fields. I have updated each character from all the relevant schools and their current jobs below.

Hinata Shoyo

Hinata Shoyo is the main protagonist of the show. He played as Middle Blocker for Karasuno High School. Later after timeskip, he went to Brazil and tried Beach Volleyball. Then he played as Opposite/Wing Spiker for Japanese V-League Division 1 team MSBY Black Jackals. Then he represented Japan at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Currently, he plays for Asas Sao Paulo in Brazil SuperLiga.

Tobio Kageyama

Kageyama played as a Setter for Karasuno High School. Right after school, he started playing for the Japanese V-League Division 1 team, Schweiden Alders. He also represented Japan National Volleyball Team in the 2016 Rio Olympics as a 19-year-old and in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Currently, he plays for Ali Roma in Italia Serie.

Daichi Sawamura

Daichi was the captain of Karasuno High school and played as a Wing Spiker. After the time skip, he is currently working as an officer in Myagi Police Force.

Koshi Sugawara

Koshi Sugawara was a Setter of Karasuno High School. After the time skip, he is currently working as an Elementary School Teacher in Myagi.

Kei Tsukishima

Tsukishima played as a Middle Blocker for Karasuno High School. After the time skip, he is currently playing as a Middle Blocker in division 2 of Japan V League representing Sendai Frogs, and is also a college student.

Asahi Azumane

Asahi Azumane played as the Wing Spiker for Karasuno High School. Currently, after the time skip, he is working as an apparel designer in Tokyo.

Yu Nishinoya

Yu Nishinoya played as the Libero for Karasuno High School. After school, he decided to travel the world and is currently in Italy fishing in Marlins.

Ryunosuke Tanaka

Tanaka played as the Wing Spiker for Karasuno High School. After graduating high school, he became a personal trainer and married Kiyoko Shimizu.

Chikara Ennoshita

Ennoshita played as the Wing-spiker for Karasuno High School. After the time skip, he is currently working as a physical therapist.

Hisashi Kinoshita

Kinoshita played as the Wing Spiker for Karasuno High School. After the time skip, he is currently working in a train company.

Kazuhito Narita

Narita played as the Middle Blocker for Karasuno High School. After the time skip, he is working for a realty firm.

Tadashi Yamaguchi

Yamaguchi played as the Wing Spiker and a pinch server for Karasuno High School. By the third year, he became the captain of the Karasuno High School Volleyball Team. After the time skip, he is currently a college student and is planning to work for a home electronics company in Miyagi once he graduates.

Keishin Ukai

Keishin Ukai, former alumni of Karasuno High school who played a setter for the Volleyball team. After the time skip, he still coaches the Karasuno High Volleyball Team which he started during the start of the series.

Ittetsu Takeda

Ittetsu Takeda is the faculty advisor and head coach of the Karasuno Volleyball Team. After the time skip, he still serves the same role in the school.

Kiyoko Shimizu

Shimizu was the manager of the Karasuno Volleyball High school team. After the time skip, she currently works as a Sports Store Employee and married Tanaka.

Hitoka Yachi

Hitoka Yachi was the manager of the Karasuno Volleyball High school team. After the time skip, she is still a college student and will begin working at an ad design company in Tokyo once she graduates.

Akiteru Tsukishima

Akiteru Tsukishima is the brother of Kei and alumni of Karasuno High school. After the time skip, he works in a stationery store.

Tenma Udai

Known as the Little Giant, Tenma Udai was part of the Karasuno volleyball team some years prior to Hinata’s generation. During the National Tournament arc, he is revealed as a University student. After Time skip, he is working as a manga artist.

Michimiya Yui

Michimiya was the Captain of the girls’ volleyball team of Karasuno High School. Currently, she is a hotel employee and also a Sepaktakraw player.

Yukitaka Izumi

Toru Oikawa was the setter and captain of Aoba Joshai High School. After the time skip, he is currently playing as a Setter for Club Atlético San Juan in Argentina. He was naturalized as an Argentina citizen and represented their National Volleyball team in Tokyo 2021 Olympics.

Hajime Iwaizumi

Hajime Iwaizumi was the Wing Spiker of Aoba Joshai High School. Two years before time skip, he was pursuing Sports science in College in the USA. He is currently an athlete trainer for Japan National Volleyball Team.

Yūtarō Kindaichi

Kindaichi was the Middle Blocker of Aoba Joshai High School. After the time skip, he is currently playing as a Middle Blocker for Tamaden Elephants (Division 2). Also, he is currently a College Senior and will be an electrician next year.
