Top 10 Strongest Characters in Hellsing
Hellsing is a Dark Fantasy series written and illustrated by Kouta Hirano. The series follows the operations of the Hellsing Organization, a secretive and covert organization that fights vampires, ghouls, and other supernatural creatures that threaten England. I have ranked the top 10 characters in the series based on their strength.
10. Luke Valentine
Luke Valentine is a vampire and minor antagonist at the beginning of the Hellsing series. At the start, Luke considers himself a match against Alucard. When he and his brother attacked Hellsing headquarters he was able to kill many people effortlessly. When Alucard appears, he put up a great fight, or at least we thought so, Alucard was just playing with him and was overestimating Luke’s strength, yet Luke’s speed, durability, regeneration, and shooting skills are good enough to make it into the top 10.
9. Zorin Blitz
First Lieutenant Zorin Blitz was a member of the Millennium forces. Zorin is a female vampire with ash-grey skin and short, spiky orange hair, Zorin is extremely sadistic and bloodthirsty, often enjoying using her illusion magic to mess with her victim’s minds before she finishes them off.
Her strongest ability backfired when she tried to control Seras Victoria’s mind instead of one soul, she found out that pip’s soul was in there too, so she was unable to focus and lose control of her abilities. Seras subsequently killed Zorin in a spectacularly violent and bloody manner, scraping her face across a wall and wearing it down like an eraser on paper.
8. Rip Van Winkle
First Lieutenant Rip Van is a member of the Millennium forces. One of Millennium’s top soldiers and a member of the Werewolf special forces. Rip van Winkle is at least 70 years old but looks to be in her early twenties due to her artificial vampiric nature.
Rip uses a long-barreled flintlock musket that fires magic bullets that “punish all without distinction,” tracking targets of their own accord, and which are seemingly armor-piercing (destroying helicopters, fighter jets, and missiles with ease), and outpaced the Mach 3 Blackbird. Alucard beat her quite easily, Although the magic bullet is very strong, Rip herself is not powerful.
7. Tublacain Alahambra
Tubalcain is a vampire and a member of the Millennium Organization, under the code name “Dandy”. His rank is First Lieutenant, putting him at the same level as Rip van Winkle and Zorin Blitz in Millennium’s hierarchy. Tubalcain’s weapons of choice were razor-sharp playing cards. The cards were magical; they could cut through nearly anything (including flesh, stone, and a bullet), explode, and appear from thin air or other impossibly small hiding places. Wounds inflicted by Alhambra’s signature weapon can negate an opponent’s accelerated recuperative capabilities as shown by Alucard and Anderson.
Their battle was intense and Alucard was forced to unleash Level 1, and ultimately, he was consumed by Alucard
6. Seras Victoria
Seras Victoria is one of the main protagonists of Hellsing. Seras was turned into a vampire by Alucard to save her from a fatal gunshot wound in the chest. Before becoming a vampire Seras was a police officer so was well-trained in hand-to-hand combat and can easily take down opponents using a combination of brute strength and technique, after becoming vampire the got superhuman speed, regeneration, soul absorption, and third eye ability that allow her to sniper enemy from 600m apart,
Her fights against Zorin and the fact that she was also able to resist the Nail of Helena’s holy vines and flames for a short period, and later healed from the damage they inflicted. Makes her strong enough to deserve this spot on our list
5. The Captain
The Captain is a member of the Millennium forces and the Waffen-SS. The Captain is the Major’s bodyguard, The Captain is a natural werewolf, able to transform at will and fight in either human or werewolf form. Just as Alucard is Hellsing’s trump card, and Alexander Anderson is Iscariot’s, the Captain is Millennium’s trump card.
He is very agile in battle and uses his iron skin to stop lethal enemy attacks in their tracks. He has superhuman speed, reflexes, stamina, and durability as he was able to withstand Walter’s strings. To kill him, Seras needed the backup as Seras pins the Captain’s leg, and Bernadotte plunges the silver tooth deep into his heart.
4. Incognito
Incognito is a powerful vampire from the dark continent, Africa, and is responsible for the creation of the FREAK Chip that creates impure vampires. He acts as the main antagonist of the Hellsing anime series and is a deadly adversary of Alucard.
Like Alucard, Incognito is an original and ancient vampire. He is a master of dark magic and a cunning opponent. His dark magic, represented by the glowing sigils covering his body, allows him to withstand what would otherwise be a killing shot from the Casull or Jackal (Vampire killing Guns).
Alucard’s fight against Incognito shows how strong and cunning incognito was. Alucard had to merge with Sett to kill him.
3. Alexander Anderson
Alexander Anderson is a Vatican priest and agent of Iscariot. He is a monster hunter and the arch-rival of Alucard. He lives in Italy, operating an orphanage outside Vatican City. He serves as the foil to Alucard as both an antagonist and type of anti-villain in the series, As Iscariot’s “trump card”, he is the single greatest warrior the Vatican can bring to bear, and the only known being who can match Alucard’s power. Alucard noted that he was the only one who he’d let defeat him.
Alexander Anderson uses scores of blessed bayonets presumably made of silver. The blessed nature of the bayonets can sting vampires and negate their regeneration. The Nail of Helena was Anderson’s trump card in his fight against Alucard, and he called it a weapon capable of genocide. As one of the nails that pierced the body of Jesus Christ himself, it is the epitome of holy weaponry and sufficient to kill a vampire as powerful as Alucard but this comes at cost of sacrificing his humanity. Alucard rules that Anderson, having sacrificed all of his humanity in exchange for power, is no longer worthy of destroying him and that Anderson must be killed.
2. Walter C. Dornez
Walter C. Dornez is a 69-year-old retired member of the Hellsing organization. Though now serving as Integra Hellsing’s butler, he has still proved to live up to his nickname “The Angel of Death” with deadly razor-sharp wires. He has a close friendship with both Integra and Alucard. Walter is captured by The Captain during their invasion of England. The Doctor then performed an unknown series of experiments on Walter to enhance his strength and abilities, which also reversed Walter’s age by about thirty or so years, the new rejuvenated Walter serving as Millennium’s new, secret weapon
Walter reached a new height of power after he was vampirized by Millennium. With his supernaturally-enhanced capabilities, he dominated Alucard for most of their fight. Alucard, who killed Anderson in two moves, was unable to touch Walter despite dumping his strongest attacks on him. Walter’s vampiric speed surpassed that of the Vampire King’s and he could use his microfilament wires at a far deadlier level, as seen when he casually sliced down two skyscrapers and when he instantly split apart a giant Baskerville in one move. Unlike other top-tier opponents, Walter was so powerful that he didn’t even need to regenerate until his fight with Alucard was nearing its end. Against the lethal wires, Alucard was helpless against the ‘Angel of Death’ until his body regressed. Alucard was forced to consume Luke Valentine’s life so he could use it to resurrect himself right after Walter regressed down to a level where he could be handled.
1. Alucard
Alucard is the main protagonist of the Hellsing series. He is the most powerful weapon of the Hellsing Organization which works against vampires and other supernatural forces. Alucard is no mere vampire; it has been implied that he is the most powerful vampire alive and the most powerful character in the series, rivaled only by Walter and Alexander Anderson.
Alucard has undoubtedly proven himself to be the most dominant monster in the series. He possesses the most versatile arsenal of supernatural powers and wields powerful weaponry that brought even a human Anderson to his knees. His regeneration is unsurpassed and his skill of resurrection is so hax that his foes liken it to immortality and made Alucard known to be invincible in battle. When unleashing all restrictions from himself, Alucard can summon an undead army made up of millions of familiars – a force so powerful that it massacred Millennium’s Letze Batallion and the Vatican’s Papal Knights within mere minutes. He racked up the most impressive combat record of anyone in the series. He easily disposed of three of Millennium’s top vampires. During the Battle of London, he fought two top-tier opponents – Anderson and Walter and won his fights against them. Against Anderson, Alucard used his immense physical strength to take out Anderson’s heart in one blow at crushing speed. Against Walter, Alucard survived Walter’s deadly onslaught of micro-cutting attacks and tactically emerged with the upper hand.
