One Piece – Potential Conquerors Haki Users In The Future

As of writing this, there are 17 confirmed Conquerors Haki in the story and as the series progresses we are bound to get more Conquerors. Based on the evidence, I have put together 10 characters that I believe are non-confirmed Conquerors Haki users or will invoke in the future.

1. Rocks D. Xebec

Likelihood: 100%

Rocks D. Xebec is the former captain of Rocks Pirates and supposedly the toughest enemy Roger has faced. Xebec had the likes of Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, Shiki, and Captain John in his crew.
The main quality of being a conqueror is to have great ambition and great willpower to stand top above others as a king. Xebec’s ambition was to become King of the world.

Xebec crew had three confirmed conquerors users in Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido which by itself is a testament to his Conqueroring ability. Shiki and Captain John are also great pirates. Kaido also has put Xebec along with Whitebeard, Roger, Shanks, and Oden when he met Luffy at Rooftop which almost confirms him being a conqueror.

2. Monkey D. Dragon

Likelihood: 100%

Monkey D. Dragon is the leader of the revolutionary army and the father of Monkey D. Luffy. He currently leads an army to overthrow the World Government itself. A conqueror should have great ambition and willpower to stand tall among others and Dragon perfectly fits this.

Ivankov almost confirms it when he notices the willpower of Luffy being similar to Dragon. Also, Dragon drives ordinary people to fight against the Government which is another feat of a conqueror. Under the Revolutionary army, there are several strong characters and it takes a Conqueror to lead them.

3. Imu

Likelihood: 100%

Imu is the secret leader of the World Government leading even the Gorosei. He is one of the most mysterious characters in the series and we are yet to delve into his character. He owns the supposedly Empty throne and leads all the kings of the world as a ruler.

There is a parallel between Doflamingo and Imu as can be seen in the below panel. And this panel was used to emphasize Doflamingo as a conqueror during his flashback. So it is fairly obvious that Imu will have Conquerors.

4. Joyboy

Likelyhood: 100%

Joyboy is someone who once lived during the Void Century who played an important role in Fish-Man history. Roger wished that he had lived during Joyboy’s time period after finding Laugh Tale. Oden was awaiting the arrival of Joyboy. Joyboy is most likely a title and the person who had it during the Void Century must definitely have Conquerors Haki.

Based on all the info we know about Joyboy from the words of Whitebeard, Roger and Oden, it is implied that Joyboy is someone who will challenge the world and turn the world upside down. So, it is obvious that the previous Joyboy also had to have the same disposition as a King.

5. Mihawk

Likelihood: 90%

Mihawk is the greatest swordsman in the world and a former Warlord. To be the strongest in the whole world, one likely needs to be a conqueror. Also given that Zoro has Conquerors Haki now, it may not be far-fetched to say Mihawk has it. One thing that may suggest against this is that Mihawk doesn’t seem to have that great of ambition but there are few others who aren’t ambitious but still have Conquerors Haki.

6. Montblanc Noland

Likelihood: 90%

Montblanc Noland was an explorer and a researcher who lived about 400 years ago. Though known currently as a liar, he was actually an honest and brave person. During his times, he was a person who was admired by his followers and also the people from the islands he visited.

There is a good parallel between Noland and Roger, Noland and Luffy, and Noland and Oden. Noland is considered a hero in both Shandia and Dressrosa due to his heroics and Luffy also ended up as the hero in those islands. Both Noland and Roger were executed in a similar manner.

In the story, Noland was portrayed as a larger-than-life person which is an attribute of Conquerors Haki users.

7. Blackbeard

Likelihood: 75%

Blackbeard is a Yonko, a former member of the Whitebeard Pirates, and a former Warlord. Blackbeard is really tricky to analyze. There are certain characteristics of Blackbeard that embody Conquerors Spirit while certain things contradict them.

Currently, Blackbeard is one of the Four Emperors which by itself is proof of being a Conqueror. All the remaining Yonko have Conquerors Haki, so it can be easily the case for Blackbeard too. Also, he possesses great ambition and aims to be the Pirate King and actually makes a progress. He is supposed to be Luffy’s main rival in obtaining One Piece.

On the other hand, Blackbeard’s certain characteristics are opposed to what typical Conquerors in the series looked like. He waited for several years in the Whitebeard ship and was willing to work under a division commander too. Even while fighting Whitebeard, he immediately was willing to submit to him once put under pressure which even schemers like Big Mom and Doflamingo will never do. So, based on these, I won’t be surprised if Oda decided to make Blackbeard lack Conquerors Haki.

8. Usopp

Likelihood: 70%

Usopp is a member of the Strawhat Pirates and a sniper in the crew. This may be a surprising inclusion but there is significant foreshadowing and also, narratively it makes sense.

In Strawhats, Luffy and Zoro obviously have goals that one needs to be a conqueror to achieve. Outside of them, only Usopp has a goal that is suitable for having Conquerors Haki. Usopp is the only Strawhat to fight Luffy seriously after joining the crew.

Usopp’s lies come true. In Wano and In Dressrosa, Usopp claimed that he used Conquerors Haki. He has lied about having 8000 people under his command. So, it makes sense that Usopp will have Conquerors Haki.

9. Garp

Likelihood: 70%

Garp is a former Vice Admiral and the grandfather of Luffy. Being the grandfather of Luffy and the father of Dragon, it can be presumed that Garp had Conquerors Haki. Also, Garp is the only Marine that has been portrayed as an equal to Roger.

On the other side of the argument, Garp was never ambitious or wanted to lead. This may indicate that he never had Conquerors Haki.

10. Momonosuke

Likelihood: 50%

Momonosuke is the son of Oden and the leader of the Samurai in Wano that is going against Kaido. Being the son of Oden by itself gives him a decent chance of him being a conqueror.

He is just 8 years old currently, and definitely isn’t the same as Oden in terms of strength at the same age. But the narrative story for Momonosuke is to be a better leader than Oden. Oden’s story is that he failed as a leader and Momo’s story is to become a better leader than him. So, it is possible that Momo will invoke Conquerors Haki in the future.
